How Job Bot works

Job Bot finds jobs that fit your resumes, applies for you, and emails the recruiter. It works for any field, and asks you only what it doesn't know.

Get started

About 15 minutes, once. The Dashboard checklist shows what's left, with a Fix button for each item.

Add the Chrome extension

Easy Apply happens in your own Chrome, with the LinkedIn login you already use. Job Bot never asks for your LinkedIn password.

Keep Chrome open and signed in to LinkedIn while it applies. Treat the code like a password.

The other setup items

AI key required
Get a free key at Google AI Studio, paste it, then Save and Test.
Gmail required
Click Connect Gmail and allow sending. Used only to email recruiters.
Hunter.io optional
Finds recruiter emails when nothing else does. Free plan: 25 searches a month.
Phone alerts optional
A Telegram message when Job Bot needs you.

Every day

Press Start on the Dashboard, or turn on Run automatically every day. Then:

Stop on the Dashboard stops both the search and the extension.

Your jobs

Every job shows Apply with: the resume to use. Click it to download.

Easy Apply job

Tracker

Every application moves through Applied → Replied → Interview → Offer (or Rejected). Drag a card to change it, or turn on reply detection to move cards from your emails.

Settings

Applying
Jobs per day and the lowest match score to apply to.
Daily schedule
When the daily search runs.
Recruiter emails
On or off, and how many a day.
Advanced
Pacing, contact sources and AI limits. The defaults suit most people.

Privacy

  • Your resumes, keys and jobs are yours alone. The site owner sees only counts.
  • Passwords and keys are encrypted and never shown.
  • Job Bot never asks for your LinkedIn password.
  • Gmail is send-only, unless you turn on reply detection.

Help

Nothing is being applied to

Check the Dashboard checklist and press Fix. Then check that Chrome is open with the extension connected.

"Sign in to LinkedIn in your Chrome"

Sign in on linkedin.com in that Chrome, then press Start again.

The extension says "file couldn't be accessed"

Its folder was moved or deleted. Remove it in chrome://extensions and load the folder again.

"Daily free quota used up"

The free AI tier has a daily limit. Job Bot carries on tomorrow, or add a Groq key as a backup.
